Who Flong Bean Pork Chops


If pork is your choice of meat this dish is a great way to serve it.



Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 small broccoli florets
  • 1 small pack sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon beef boullion
  • 2 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 1/2 cup white minute rice
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Pepper to taste
  • Seasoning salt to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste

Method

In a medium fry pan, on medium heat, put oil, then chops. Lightly sprinkle chops to taste with pepper, seasoning salt and garlic powder. Cover pan and cook chops about seven minutes then turn chops over and season the other side the same way and cover pan. Cook for another seven minutes. Place chops on plate to cool. When cool to touch, slice chops and put back into fry pan. Add about one cup water into pan to pick up all the tasty bits. Stir and add broccoli, mushrooms and almonds to pan and stir. Cover pan and simmer on medium low heat. Meanwhile boil water and add bouillon, margarine and soy sauce. Add rice and cover until rice is tender. Next add rice to pan mixture and stir together very well. Cover for five minutes and serve.
