Method

Place beef roast, pork roast or whole chicken in a crockpot filled with water and pinneapple juice. Cook on low for 8 1/2-9 hours then drain all liquids. Place crockpot under faucet and run cold water. Shredding automatically happens as the water runs over. There is very little to pull with a fork. Drain again and place meat or poultry in a bowl. Add brown sugar, barbeque sauce and spices, to taste. If using chicken add molasses and mix well. Serve directly on plate or on toast, bread, or Texas toast.

Notes: This may seem weird but it is a great way to enjoy tasty BBQ without touching the grill, and literally no hassle. Enjoy year round, and add what ever else you may enjoy to your BBQ. This recipe is for beef, pork or chicken.

Number of Servings: 8-12
