Pork ribs are baked long and slow with a glaze of catsup, molasses, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and grape jelly.
Simmer sauce ingredients over low heat for 1/2 hr., stirring occassionally.
Place ribs in large roasting pan.
Brush lightly with oil. Pour sauce over ribs. Put remainder thinly sliced lemon on top of ribs.
Cover and bake for 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Uncover and bake 1 hr. at 250 degrees, turning ribs occassionally. The last 10 minutes turn oven to 350 degrees and let ribs brown. Serve on platter.
Notes:
Best served with asparagus, rice, and salad. Dessert: sherbet or ice cream.
