Tequila-Lime Chops with Pepper Jelly Sauce

These zesty pork chops have a great flavor that brings heat with sweet.
 

Ingredients

  • 6-8 center cut pork chops
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp grated lime zest
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Gold tequila
  • 1/4 cup sweet and soup mix
  • 8 oz fruited pepper jelly

Method

In a large Ziploc bag, place pork chops and next 5 ingredients. Marinate for 1 hour. Prepare grill over medium heat. In a small sauce pan, add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer for about 10 minutes and remove from heat. Grill pork chops a total of 12-15 minutes, depending on thickness, turning once during cooking time. Place chops on plate and top with sauce.
