Spicy Smoked Chinese Riblets

If you love smoked meats and Asian cuisine, this finger lickin' Chinese rib recipe is for you! No sauce needed. Tender juicy and full of flavor. Try these out at your next cookout.

5 lbs Ribs
3 Tbsp Kosher Salt
3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Granulated Garlic
1 Tbsp Chinese Five Spice
1 Tbsp Granulated Onion
1 Tbsp Powdered Ginger
1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Ground Coriander
1 cup Limeaid
¼ cup Oyster Sauce
4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
4 Tbsp Sesame Oil
4 Tbsp Dry Sherry
2 Tbsp Vinegar


Rub a generous amount of rub on ribs. Place in a covered container and refrigerate overnight. Heat a smoker to 250 degrees. Place your ribs on racks, making sure to have enough space between the ribs for even smoking. Smoke for 3 1/2-4 hours, basting with mop every 45 minutes, keep the ribs moist. Remove from smoker and cover with foil.

Helpful Tips:

Soak your choice of wood chips for at least 1 hour. Change chips as needed.
