Country-style pork ribs are cooked in the crock pot with canned tomatoes, celery, white beans, peas & mushrooms, seasoned with garlic & cumin.
Chop onion and saute in olive oil until transluscent (but not brown). Put cooked onion in the crockpot.
Salt and pepper the ribs and place them on the onions in the crock pot. Add the crushed tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, chopped celery, peas, and beans.
Add garlic powder, cumin, and bay leaf. Stir gently. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
