Sandy's Pork Chop Casserole

This one-dish meal has pork chops, sliced potatoes and canned soup layered in a baking dish.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 can of golden mushroom soup
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 package boneless pork chops (6-8)

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Fry pork chops about 20 seconds on each side to seal in the flavor; set aside. In a saucepan mix golden mushroom and cream of mushroom soups. Stir 3 cans of water into soups and heat on stove. Set aside. Cook onion in butter; add to soup. Slice potatoes in rounds, then layer in baking dish as follows: Soup, pork chops, potatoes. Bake until pork chop is no longer pink inside and potatoes are tender.

 

Notes: Eat with Light Bread and you have a meal for your whole family.
