Pork ribs are marinated and then grilled with a sauce of rhubarb, ginger and garlic.
 

Ingredients

  • 2-4 pounds country style pork ribs
  • 2 lbs rhubarb
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
  • Dash hot sauce

Method

Chop and cook rhubarb in orange and cranberry juice. Squash and dice garlic, grate ginger; add to sauce and blend for about a minute. Marinate meat overnight in 1/2 of sauce. Remove meat and dispose of juice. Cook ribs over hot coals until done. Coat ribs with additional sauce just before pulling off grill.

 

Notes: Use lots of napkins.
