These chops are smothered in an rich and creamy sauce made with mushroom soup, Italian salad dressing mix, dry sherry, and cream cheese.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place pork chops in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
In a medium saucepan melt the butter; stir in the dry salad dressing mix. Stir in soup, sherry, water, cream cheese, and onion; pour over chops.
Bake about 1 1/4 hours or until chops are done. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
