Pork Chop Mandarin Orange Bake

Pork and oranges are a great flavor combination. Cooking them in the juice makes them fork tender and great for any dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 6 center cut pork chops
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1can of mandarin oranges
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Orange marmalade

Method

Clean the pork chops and put them in a bowl. Squeeze the fresh orange juice over the pork chops and let them sit for 1 hour. Take the chops from the bowl and fry them until browned. Transfer the pork to a baking pan add salt and pepper and the can of mandarin oranges with juice. Place a tsp of marmalade on each chop and bake at 350 degrees F. until done. Don't forget, the pan must be covered while baking.

Notes: These chops come out fork tender and are delicious.
