
Use some leftover country-style pork ribs for the meat in this interesting soup.
In a 3-quart saucepan combine chopped cooked pork, celery, onion, carrots, garlic, parsley flakes, bouillon cubes, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Add enough water to cover. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 1 to 2 hours. Add cooked brown rice; simmer 30 minutes more.
To serve, ladle into soup bowls and sprinkle with curry powder.
