Pork Roast Cubano Sandwiches

These sandwiches are great to serve during a game. You keep the pork warm and let people create their own sandwiches as they please.
 

Ingredients

  • 3-5 lb pork roast, trimmed of fat
  • 1 16 oz jar salsa
  • 1 8 oz can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 8-12 crusty rolls
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced ham
  • Prepared yellow mustard
  • Thinly sliced dill pickles
 
Method

Place roast, salsa and pineapple with juice into crock-pot. Cook on low for 10-12 hours. Once cooked, shred with two forks. Keep warm on low heat. Split open crusty rolls and fill each with a slice or two of Swiss cheese, a slice or two of ham and a generous serving of pork. Drizzle with mustard and top with a few pickle slices.
