|3 Tbsp||Olive or Canola Oil|
|4 tsp||Minced Garlic|
|4||Pork Loin Chops, trimmed of fat and cut ½" thick|
|½ cup||Light Cream|
|2 Tbsp||Fresh Basil, chopped|
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat, then add garlic, salt and pepper. Saute for 2 minutes. Add chops, then saute 10 minutes on each side or until no longer pink inside. Remove chops to a large plate and keep warm. Whisk cream and basil into pan drippings, cook 3 minutes, or until sauce starts to thicken. Pour sauce over chops.
You can use 2 tsp freeze dried basil in place of the fresh, but fresh makes the sauce taste richer. I usually use this sauce for chicken, but only had pork chops. I think this sauce is better with the chops!
