Pork Chop Potato Bake

This easy meat-and-potatoes casserole features pork chops baked atop a mixture of frozen hash brown potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and canned French-fried onions.
 

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 12 oz. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (2.3 oz.) French-fried onions
 
Method

In skillet, cook pork chops just until browned; remove. Combine soup, milk and sour cream. Stir in thawed hash browns, cheese and onions. Place in well-greased baking dish. Arrange pork chops over hash browns. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 minutes, or until done.

 

Notes: Can use chicken pieces instead of pork chops.
