A simple, but delicious one-dish meal--just saute pork tendeloin, apples, and Vidalia onion with brown sugar and apple brandy.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz pork tenderloin, sliced into thirds
  • 1/2 sliced red delicious apple
  • 2 oz sliced sweet Vidalia onion
  • 2 oz brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 shot apple brandy

Method

In a saute pan, add a little oil and heat. Lightly coat tenderloin with flour. Saute in pan, browning each side, then remove from pan and set aside. Saute apples and onions until tender, add butter, brown sugar and brandy to deglaze pan. Once glaze forms, return pork and reheat. Serve with pork covered by apples, onions and glaze.

Notes: You can use apple schnapps as a substitute for brandy and even use pork chops instead of tenderloin as well.

Number of Servings: 1 serving
