A simple, but elegant, main dish--boneless pork chops in an orange and Chardonnay flavored sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 1-inch thick boneless pork loin chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Chardonnay wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Season both sides of pork chops with steak seasoning, salt and pepper. Place olive oil in a skillet on high heat. Place pork chops in pan and sear until golden brown on one side, turn and sear other side to golden brown. Pour wine and orange juice into pan and reduce heat to medium. Cover and continue to cook 20 minutes. Thicken pan juices with cornstarch and water then serve over pork chops.

Notes: These pork chops are tender and the flavor is great. Served with mashed potatoes and beets, it is a wonderful meal.
