Mom's Breakfast Dish
Croutons form the bottom layer of this tasty breakfast casserole. Prepare it the night before and finish in the morning for a hearty breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 lbs sausage - 1 hot
- 1 regular
- 6 eggs
- 3/4 tsp. mustard
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 can of Cream of Chicken & Mushroom soup

Method
Put croutons on bottom layer of cake pan. Add cheese to the top of the croutons. Brown 2 lbs sausage and pour over cheese. Mix together 6 beaten eggs, 3/4 cup mustard and 2 1/2 cups milk. Pour egg mixture over sausage. Let sit overnight. In the morning, mix together soup and milk. Pour over top. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
