Marmalade Chops

Boneless pork chops are broiled with a glaze of horseradish and orange marmalade for an intriguing blend of sweet and spicy flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1/2 jar orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup horseradish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Method

Preheat broiler. Lower rack to 2nd highest level. Sprinkle pork with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place pork under broiler and cook for 5-6 minutes, depending upon thickness. During last 3-5 minutes, pour marmalade and horseradish glaze over pork. Let pork rest for 3-4 minutes before serving. Sauce will thicken upon standing and pork will be juicier.

Notes: Watch glaze under broiler carefully so it doesn't burn.

Number of servings: 4-6
