Jade Garden Ribs

These Asian inspired ribs are small, but packed with a great flavor. Careful with the red pepper, it packs a punch.
Ingredients
- 4 lbs pork riblets
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 oz fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 6 cloves fresh garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- Red pepper, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Method
Lay riblets in a shallow roasting pan, season with salt and pepper and roast at 350 degrees for an hour. In a large sauce pan, bring water to a boil; add sugar, soy sauce, garlic, red pepper and ginger. Let simmer until a thin syrup forms. Cut ribs into serving pieces and add to simmering syrup. Do not cook more than 30 minutes, and then serve.
