Grilled hot dogs take a tropical twist with a pineapple topping.

  • Servings: 6

Ingredients:

4 Pineapple Rings
4 slices Spam, ΒΌ" thick
4 Scallions, chopped
4 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
4 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
6 Hot Dogs
6 slices American Cheese, cut in half
6 Hot Dog Buns

Directions:

Grill pineapple rings and spam until they have nice grill marks on both sides. When done, remove from grill and dice the pineapple and Spam. In a bowl, combine the pineapple, spam, scallions, hoisin sauce, and vinegar.

Cover and refrigerate unti serving time. Grill hot dogs until done to your liking. The last 5 minutes toast the buns. Place a hot dog on toasted bun, and the 1/2 slice of American cheese on the hot dog. Top the cheese and dog with hula sauce.
