Garlic Pork with Broccoli and Peppers

If you have a wok, this is a dinner that can be ready in no time at all. Prepare the rice or noodles while the rest of your dish is cooking and dinner is served.

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 half inch thick tenderized boneless pork loin chops, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sesame seed oil
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 each, red, yellow, orange, and green bell peppers, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 6 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 3 cup fresh broccoli florets
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Stir-fry oil

Method

Place pork loin in a dish or bowl. Mix 1/3 of the soy sauce together with the sesame seed oil, ginger, garlic, and pepper flakes. Pour the mixture over pork loin chops. Let marinate for 30-45 minutes. Heat wok to hot and add the stir-fry oil immediately after. Add the pork in batches. Once cooked, remove the pork, and add the veggies, starting with the broccoli, then the peppers, onions, and garlic. Cook until veggies are tender and still have a little bite. Sprinkle remaining soy sauce and the red pepper flakes in, and then add the pork loin, cooking it all together. Remove the ingredients from the wok, and garnish with thin slices of an English cucumber or chopped parsley.
