|9" Uncooked Pie Crust**|
|1 pt||Half & Half|
|1 Tbsp||All-purpose Flour|
|8 oz||Shredded Swiss Cheese|
|¼ lb sliced||Bacon, crisp-ccoked and crumbled or cubed cooked ham|
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch quiche or deep-dish pie plate. Make sure that the crust is flat against the bottom and the sides. Fold or crimp the edge. Set aside. Whisk together the half & half, eggs, and flour. Add the cheese and bacon (or ham) and continue to mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. Pour the mixture in the pie plate. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees F, then reduce oven to 350 degrees F and continue to bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
** You can use a homemade, rolled refrigerated, or prepackaged frozen crust. For a low-carb version, eliminate the crust completely.
