These country ribs are browned in bacon fat and baked smothered in beans and bacon. What a meal.

  • Servings: 6-8


6 slices Thick Maple Flavored Bacon, cut into 1" pieces
3 lbs Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs, trimmed of excess fat
1 can Pork & Beans, drained of most liquid
¾ cup Molasses
⅓ cup Ketchup
1 Tbsp Dry Mustard or 2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
⅓ cup Brown Sugar, lightly packed
2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Fry bacon pieces in a large skillet until crisp. Remove and set aside. Add ribs to bacon fat and cook until brown on all sides, 4-5 minutes. When browned, place on a 9 X 13 deep glass baking dish. In a large mixing bowl, mix together remaining ingredients and pour mixture over browned ribs in baking dish. Sprinkle bacon over beans, then lightly poke each piece partially into the beans. Place baking dish onto a baking sheet and place on center rack of preheated oven. Bake 2 1/2 hours until the beans are thickened and bubbly. To serve, remove ribs from under beans and place on a platter. Serve side by side with beans.
