Smoked and maple flavored sausage, chicken and rice combine to create the flavorful dish that is Big K's namesake.
Pour chicken stock into a large pot, thicker pot suggested, and bring to a boil. Cut up chicken and sausages into bite sized pieces. Add meat, salt, pepper, and minced onions to stock and boil approximately 10 minutes. Next, add rice to pot. Stir everything together and bring it back to a boil. Once it starts to boil, turn burner down to low heat and cook for 20 minutes without removing lid. After cooking for 20 minutes, set pot off hot burner and let it sit for 15 minutes. Finally, take the lid off and stir.
