BBQ Spare Ribs and Creamy Chive Potatoes

A homemade barbecue sauce is the key to making the tastiest ribs--this one has only four ingredients.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 family pkg boneless spare ribs
  • 6 baking potatoes for mashed potatoes
  • Fresh or dry chives
  • Milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter
  • Barbeque Sauce:
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
 
Method

Boil ribs until fully cooked. Peel and cut potatoes into chucks for mashed potatoes. While potatoes are boiling, mix ingredients for barbecue sauce in a bowl. Mash potatoes, add butter, milk, salt and pepper. Garnish with chives. Serve ribs with sauce and a side of mashed potatoes.
