1 tsp Cayenne, optional
2 cups Apple Butter
½ cup Packed Brown Sugar
⅓ cup Cider Vinegar

Rub ribs with salt, pepper, thyme, and cayenne.

Place ribs in slow cooker. Pour sauce over ribs, and turn to coat. Cover, and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or until ribs are tender.

Helpful Tips:

Baby back ribs simmered in a warm and spicy apple butter sauce until they are fall-off-the-bone tender. Few ingredients and simple preparation make it easy for a novice cook. This is a great rib recipe for those who cannot tolerate tomato-based sauces!
