Ancho Cocoa Kissed Baby Back Ribs

Chocolate and chili is a classic combination--and the perfect rub for grilled ribs.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 slab baby back pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetend cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Method

Mix all spices together then rub onto both sides of ribs. Wrap in foil and let rest in refrigerator overnight. Place on a pre-heated grill, and cook over low heat in foil, for 1 1/2-2 hours. Remove foil and cook another 1-1 1/2 hours.
